Sage Ireland St. Vincent de Paul charity
Today, Friday, Sage Ireland (@sageireland) is encouraging its social media followers and customers to send a tweet with the hashtag #SageXmasGiving. For every tweet published that includes the hashtag, Sage will donate €1 to St. Vincent de Paul, the largest charitable organisation in Ireland.
Finance Manager with SVP in the Dublin region, Kevin McDermott, praised the initiative, stating that the organisation was “delighted to support the innovative idea that Sage has come up with to generate support for us this Christmas”.
By the end of today, Sage will count the number of tweets including the hashtag #SageXmasGiving and donate €1 per tweet up to a maximum of €1,000.
Andrew Sanders, executive sponsor of Sage Ireland’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee commented,
“We think this is a great way in which Sage can share with our customers and employees. St. Vincent de Paul are a terrific charity that help a lot of people throughout the year, and especially at this time that is so joyful for many.”
