Character from Final Fantasy XIII
One of many companies likely to debut 3D devices at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, Toshiba have exhibited a 56-inch HD 3D TV that doesn’t require glasses to be worn by the viewer. The 3D TV is still only a prototype but is expected to arrive on sale towards the end of this year.
Dave Oshry from RipTen has posted a video of the impressive 3D TV in action. Interestingly the video shows off a standard version of the game Final Fantasy XIII, so it appears that the device automatically converts normal 2D images into 3D on the fly!
